H.E. Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah graduated from one of the US universities as a civil engineer and joined the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Government of UAE, where he served for 5 years. He joined Dubai Municipality in 1985 as an Assistant Section Head. He was promoted later to be the Director of Drainage Department and then to Assistant Director General for Environment and Public Health. In 2004 he was transferred to become the Assistant DG for Building and Planning Affairs, in charge of Planning and Survey Department, Housing Department, GIS Center and the Statistics Center. Eng. Lootah has chaired many committees at Dubai Municipality like technical, strategic planning, e Government and the personnel committees. Also he chaired many organizational committees for many of the conferences held by Dubai Municipality.
