GIS Development
GIS Development is a media organization that aims to promote and propagate usage of geospatial technologies in various areas of development. The organization encourages exchange of scientific know-how through its portals www.GISdevelopment.net the largest geospatial portal in the world and GIS Development Middle East the regional portal for the Middle East region. GIS Development also has its bi-monthly publication GIS Middle East (The Middle East GIS Bi-Monthly) and the monthly publication GIS (The Asian GIS Monthly). It is publishing Electronic News Letters (Ezine) GIS Development Publication and GIS Development Weekly. Recently a Bi- Weekly Ezine has been launched for the Middle East. It also organises internationally acclaimed conferences of Map Middle East, Map Asia, Map India and Location.

Dubai Municipality
A pioneer in geospatial technology usage in the Middle East region, Dubai Municipality is the major driving force behind the development process of Dubai City. It is one of the largest establishments in Dubai in terms of employees, the volume of services and the projects it carries out. An important unit of the Dubai Municipality is the Dubai GIS Center, which aims to service all departments inside Dubai Municipality, outside government organizations and public organizations with GIS-related tasks.
